TLBS New Material Technology Co., Ltd.
Polypropylene decorative film for furniture and interior surface projects. Explore the designs, plan your specification and discuss your application with TLBS.
Material / Polypropylene
PP decorative film is a polypropylene-based surface material used to bring colour and decorative patterns to furniture and interior components. TLBS supplies decorative films from Tianjin, China, with PP among its core product ranges.
Our PP film range is available in thicknesses from 0.08 to 0.30 mm and widths from 1,000 to 1,260 mm, with width customization available. Discuss flat lamination, wrapping or thermo-forming requirements with our team to match the film to your component and production line.

01 / Design reference
Use these existing sample images to describe your preferred appearance when contacting us. Confirm colour, pattern scale and surface feel using a physical sample before making a production decision.
02 / Your application
TLBS PP decorative films serve commercial and residential surface projects. Tell us where the finished component will be used so that grade selection and sample evaluation can focus on your application.
Share the cabinet design, substrate and edge detail. For kitchen or bathroom projects, include your cleaning, moisture and heat requirements when discussing a grade.
Applications include ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture, drawer wrap, folding backs and shelving. Share your panel geometry, pattern direction and matching requirements.
Discuss RV and utility trailer walls and ceilings, flooring, waterproof wall-covering projects and moisture-resistant decorative surfaces. Specify the service conditions and required performance of the finished assembly.
Application suitability depends on the selected film grade and the complete finished assembly. A design image alone does not establish a performance rating.

04 / Processing options
Choose the process to suit your component. The following TLBS reference values are starting points for a production trial; the selected film grade, adhesive supplier's instructions and equipment requirements determine the final settings.
For flat surface projects. Adhesive options include PUR hot melt or cold glue (white latex), subject to process compatibility.
Reference adhesive application: 50–60 g/m².
Reference lamination pressure: 0.4–0.5 MPa.
Hot-melt and cold-glue processes need different temperature schedules; confirm settings for the selected adhesive.
Discuss the component profile and film suitability with TLBS. The supplied reference process uses PUR hot melt adhesive.
Reference coating amount: 30–40 g/m².
Reference pressure: 0.4–0.5 MPa.
Reference line speed: 20–25 m/min.
Uses a dedicated thermo-forming adhesive and a film selected for the forming process.
Reference film thickness: 0.18–0.25 mm.
Reference forming temperature: 100–150°C.
Discuss the machine's positive/negative-pressure cycle, component geometry and trial conditions.
05 / Sample evaluation
Review a physical sample for colour and appearance, then evaluate it on the intended substrate. Agree the trial conditions and acceptance criteria before moving to a production order.
TLBS's existing R&D and testing equipment gallery includes wear, ageing, tensile and gloss equipment. For a specific performance requirement, ask whether a report is available for the film grade you are considering and confirm its test method and scope.
06 / Common questions
PP stands for polypropylene, the base polymer of PP decorative film. The finished appearance and suitability for a project also depend on the selected film construction and how it is processed.
Send TLBS the substrate, equipment, adhesive and processing details. Confirm compatibility for the selected grade and carry out a trial before approving a production order.
The PP decorative film range covers 0.08–0.30 mm thickness and 1,000–1,260 mm width. Width customization is available. Send your design reference and required dimensions so TLBS can confirm the selected specification and supply terms.
